Save the date for Eastside Greendrink's annual holiday fest at Tree House Point in Preston on Thursday, December 16th at 5pm.  Anyone who joined us last year will remember what a memorable evening and fabulous location we had and we are thrilled that Tree House Point is gracious enough to host us for a second year.

Space is limited for this special holiday celebration, so a formal RSVP will be required - watch for more details in your email.  Due to the location, carpooling is essential and we encourage parties to meet up at the Preston-Fall City Park and Ride just off exit 22 on I-90.

As part of the planning committee, we are happy to say that we have all our sponsor locations through the end of the year and with this look back and celebrate where we have been and what we have accomplished to promote green business and living on the eastside of Lake Washington!
 
We are looking for new resources to take over the planning of these valuable events into the coming year.  We would like to invite anyone interested in spending a few hours a month to volunteer for keeping this green networking event moving forward in the future. 
 
Join us to volunteer and learn more and brainstorm on how to keep these events moving forward!

Join Eastside Greendrinks on Thursday, September 16th from 5 pm - 7:30 pm for our monthly networking event with host 21 Acres Farm.

The 21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living serves the community as an agricultural and environmental learning center. The land supports a community farm and garden plots; growing food for families, markets, schools and hunger relief along with educational programming on topics such as backyard food production, food preservation, beekeeping, energy conservation and sustainable living. The new 21 Acres green building opens spring, 2011 featuring a farm retail market and commercial kitchen. 

Tour the farm and preview the building during your Greendrinks visit!  Also save the date for the 21 Acres Sustainable Living Fair on Saturday, October 2nd.  An event flyer is attached at the end, and more information on the farm and the fair can be found at 21acres.org and at 21acresgreenbuilding.org

Please note there is limited parking, so please consider carpooling, bus or take the bike route on Burke-Gilman and Sammamish River Trails. 

This is a FREE event but a $5.00 donation is suggested. Beer, wine and light appetizers will be served.
